Our Curriculum
Our program gives students the ability to learn and apply basic math concepts through hands-on application on the baseball field. The curriculum consists of lessons with baseball activities connected to math concepts, growth mindset principles, and both classroom and outdoor components. This integration of concepts provides an engaging and relevant context for youth to participate in mathematical practices and develop a growth mindset
Growth Mindset
Using a growth mindset can help you learn new things! It means believing that you can learn, even if it feels hard at first. With a growth mindset, you will keep trying and use mistakes to help you grow!
Math
Making connections between key math concepts such as fractions, angles and measurement and baseball contexts such as batting averages and stealing bases supports students’ engagement and mathematics learning!
